CCCC 200. Come si rimettono i peccati?

Il primo e principale sacramento per il perdono dei peccati è il Battesimo. Per i peccati commessi dopo il Battesimo, Cristo ha istituito il Sacramento della Riconciliazione o Penitenza, per mezzo del quale il battezzato è riconciliato con Dio e con la Chiesa.

The first and chief sacrament for the forgiveness of sins is Baptism. For those sins committed after Baptism, Christ instituted the sacrament of Reconciliation or Penance through which a baptized person is reconciled with God and with the Church.
