CCCC 194. Che cosa significa l'espressione comunione dei santi?

Tale espressione indica anzitutto la comune partecipazione di tutti i membri della Chiesa alle cose sante (sancta): la fede, i Sacramenti, in particolare l'Eucaristia, i carismi e gli altri doni spirituali. Alla radice della comunione c'è la carità che «non cerca il proprio interesse» (1 Cor 13,5), ma spinge il fedele «a mettere tutto in comune» (At 4,32), anche i propri beni materiali a servizio dei più poveri.

Cette expression signifie avant tout la participation commune de tous les membres de l’Église aux réalités saintes (sancta) : la foi, les sacrements, en particulier l’Eucharistie, les charismes et les autres dons spirituels. À la source de la communion, il y a la charité, qui « ne cherche pas son intérêt » (1 Co 13,5), mais qui pousse les fidèles à « mettre tout en commun » (Ac 4,32), même leurs biens matériels, pour le service des plus pauvres.

This expression indicates first of all the common sharing of all the members of the Church in holy things (sancta): the faith, the sacraments, especially the Eucharist, the charisms, and the other spiritual gifts. At the root of this communion is love which “does not seek its own interests” (1 Corinthians 13:5) but leads the faithful to “hold everything in common” (Acts 4:32), even to put one’s own material goods at the service of the most poor.
