CCCC 49. 세 분의 신성한 위격(divine persons)들은 어떻게 활동하는지요?

그분들의 하나의 본체 안에서 분리될 수 없는(inseparable), 이 세 분의 신성한 위격들은 그분들의 활동(activity)에 있어서도 또한 분리될 수 없습니다. 삼위일체께서는 단 하나뿐이고(sole) 동일한(the same), 하나의 작용(one operation)을 가지십니다. 바로 이 신성한 활동에 있어, 그러나, 각 위격은, 삼위일체의 각 위격에 고유한 양식(mode)에 따라, 현존하십니다(present).

     “오, 흠숭하올 성삼위 하느님 ... 허락하소서 제 영혼에게 평화를. 제 영혼을 당신의 하늘(heaven, 천당)로 삼으시어 당신의 사랑받는 거처, 당신의 휴식처로 삼으소서. 제가 당신을 그곳에 결코 홀로 두지 않고, 통째 및 전적으로 머물러, 나의 신앙 안에서 완전하게 깨어 있으면서, 당신을 전적으로 흠숭하고, 그리고 당신의 창조 활동에 저 자신을 통째로 의탁하게 하소서.” (성삼의 복자 엘리사벳)

Inseparabili nella loro unica sostanza, le Persone divine sono inseparabili anche nel loro operare: la Trinità ha una sola e medesima operazione. Ma, nell'unico agire divino, ogni Persona è presente secondo il modo che le è proprio nella Trinità. 

«O mio Dio, Trinità che adoro... pacifica la mia anima;fanne il tuo cielo, la tua dimora amata e il luogo del tuo riposo. Cheio non ti lasci mai sola, ma che sia lì, con tutta me stessa, tutta vigile nella mia fede, tutta adorante, tutta offerta alla tua azione creatrice» (beata Elisabetta della Trinità).

Inséparables dans leur unique nature, les Personnes divines sont aussi inséparables dans leur action. La Trinité a une seule et même opération. Mais dans l’unique action divine, chaque Personne est présente selon le mode qui lui est propre dans la Trinité.

« O mon Dieu, Trinité que j’adore… Pacifiez mon âme. Faites-en votre ciel, votre demeure aimée et le lieu de votre repos. Que je ne Vous y laisse jamais seul, mais que je sois là, tout entière, tout éveillée en ma foi, toute adorante, toute livrée à votre action créatrice » (Bienheureuse Élisabeth de la Trinité).

Inseparable in their one substance, the three divine Persons are also inseparable in their activity. The Trinity has one operation, sole and the same. In this one divine action, however, each Person is present according to the mode which is proper to him in the Trinity.

“O my God, Trinity whom I adore...grant my soul peace; make it your heaven, your beloved dwelling, and the place of your rest. May I never abandon you there, but may I be there, whole and entire, completely vigilant in my faith, entirely adoring, and wholly given over to your creative action.” (Blessed Elizabeth of the Trinity)
