CCCC 155. In che senso il popolo di Dio partecipa delle tre funzioni di Cristo, Sacerdote, Profeta e Re?

Il popolo di Dio partecipa all'ufficio sacerdotale di Cristo, in quanto i battezzati vengono consacrati dallo Spirito Santo per offrire sacrifici spirituali; partecipa al suo ufficio profetico, in quanto con il senso soprannaturale della fede aderisce indefettibilmente ad essa, l'approfondisce e la testimonia; partecipa al suo ufficio regale col servizio, imitando Gesù Cristo, che, re dell'universo, si fece servo di tutti, soprattutto dei poveri e dei sofferenti.

CCCC 155. En quel sens le peuple de Dieu prend-il part aux trois fonctions du Christ, sacerdotale, prophétique et royale?
CCC 783-786

Le peuple de Dieu prend part à la fonction sacerdotale du Christ parce que les baptisés sont consacrés par l’Esprit Saint pour offrir des sacrifices spirituels. Il participe à sa fonction prophétique parce que, grâce au sens surnaturel de la foi, il s’attache de manière indéfectible à la foi, il en approfondit l’intelligence et il en devient témoin. Il participe à sa fonction royale par le service, imitant le Christ Jésus, roi de l’univers, qui s’est fait serviteur de tous, surtout des pauvres et de ceux qui souffrent.

CCCC 155. In what way does the people of God share in the three functions of Christ as Priest, Prophet and King?
CCC 783-786

The people of God participate in Christ's priestly office insofar as the baptized are consecrated by the Holy Spirit to offer spiritual sacrifices. They share in Christ’s prophetic office when with a supernatural sense of faith they adhere unfailingly to that faith and deepen their understanding and witness to it. The people of God share in his kingly office by means of service, imitating Jesus Christ who as King of the universe made himself the servant of all, especially the poor and the suffering.
