CCCC 208. Che cos'è il giudizio particolare?
CCC 1021-1022, 1051
È il giudizio di retribuzione immediata, che ciascuno, fin dalla sua morte, riceve da Dio nella sua anima immortale, in rapporto alla sua fede e alle sue opere. Tale retribuzione consiste nell'accesso alla beatitudine del cielo, immediatamente o dopo un'adeguata purificazione, oppure alla dannazione eterna nell'inferno.

C’est le jugement de rétribution immédiate que chacun, à partir de sa mort, reçoit de Dieu en son âme immortelle, en relation avec sa foi et ses œuvres. Cette rétribution consiste dans l’accession à la béatitude du ciel, aussitôt ou après une purification proportionnée, ou au contraire à la condamnation éternelle de l’enfer.

It is the judgment of immediate retribution which each one after death will receive from God in his immortal soul in accord with his faith and his works. This retribution consists in entrance into the happiness of heaven, immediately or after an appropriate purification, or entry into the eternal damnation of hell.
