205. Con la morte, che cosa succede al nostro corpo e alla nostra anima?

Con la morte, separazione dell'anima e del corpo, il corpo cade nella corruzione, mentre l'anima, che è immortale, va incontro al giudizio di Dio e attende di ricongiungersi al corpo quando, al ritorno del Signore, risorgerà trasformato. Comprendere come avverrà la risurrezione supera le possibilità della nostra immaginazione e del nostro intelletto.

À la mort, l’âme et le corps sont séparés, le corps tombe en corruption, tandis que l’âme, qui est immortelle, va vers le jugement de Dieu et attend d’être réunie au corps quand il sera transformé, lors du retour du Seigneur. Comprendre comment se produira la résurrection dépasse les capacités de notre imagination et de notre entendement.

After death, which is the separation of the body and the soul, the body becomes corrupt while the soul, which is immortal, goes to meet the judgment of God and awaits its reunion with the body when it will rise transformed at the time of the return of the Lord. How the resurrection of the body will come about exceeds the possibilities of our imagination and understanding.
