I carismi sono doni speciali dello Spirito Santo elargiti ai singoli per il bene degli uomini, per le necessità del mondo e in particolare per l'edificazione della Chiesa, al cui Magistero spetta il loro discernimento.

Les charismes sont des dons particuliers de l’Esprit Saint impartis aux personnes pour le bien des hommes, pour les nécessités du monde et spécialement pour l’édification de l’Église. C’est au Magistère de l’Église qu’il revient de les discerner.

Charisms are special gifts of the Holy Spirit which are bestowed on individuals for the good of others, the needs of the world, and in particular for the building up of the Church. The discernment of charisms is the responsibility of the Magisterium.
