CCCC 414. Come si esprime la solidarietà umana?

La solidarietà, che scaturisce dalla fraternità umana e cristiana, si esprime anzitutto nella giusta ripartizione dei beni, nella equa remunerazione del lavoro e nell'impegno per un ordine sociale più giusto. La virtù della solidarietà attua anche la condivisione dei beni spirituali della fede, ancor più importanti di quelli materiali.

La solidarité, qui découle de la fraternité humaine et chrétienne, se manifeste en premier lieu dans la juste répartition des biens, dans la rémunération équitable du travail et dans l’engagement pour un ordre social plus juste. La vertu de solidarité pratique aussi le partage des biens spirituels de la foi, encore plus importants que les biens matériels.

Solidarity, which springs from human and Christian brotherhood, is manifested in the first place by the just distribution of goods, by a fair remuneration for work and by zeal for a more just social order. The virtue of solidarity also practices the sharing of the spiritual goods of faith which is even more important than sharing material goods.
