CCCC 327. Qual è l'ufficio del Vescovo nella Chiesa particolare a lui affidata?

Il Vescovo, a cui viene affidata una Chiesa particolare, è il principio visibile e il fondamento dell'unità di tale Chiesa, verso la quale adempie, quale vicario di Cristo, l'ufficio pastorale, coadiuvato dai propri presbiteri e diaconi.

CCCC 327. Quelle est la fonction de l’Évêque dans l’Église particulière qui lui est confiée?

L’Évêque, auquel est confiée une Église particulière, est le principe visible et le fondement de l’unité de cette Église, envers laquelle, comme vicaire du Christ, il remplit la charge pastorale, aidé par ses prêtres et ses diacres.

CCCC 327. What is the office confided to a Bishop in a particular Church?
CCC 1560-1561
The bishop to whom the care of a particular Church is entrusted is the visible head and foundation of unity for that Church. For the sake of that Church, as vicar of Christ, he fulfills the office of shepherd and is assisted by his own priests and deacons.
