CCCC 35. Quali sono i più importanti Simboli della fede?

Essi sono il Simbolo degli Apostoli, che è l'antico Simbolo battesimale della Chiesa di Roma, e il Simbolo niceno-costantinopolitano, frutto dei primi due Concili Ecumenici di Nicea (325) e di Costantinopoli (381), ancora oggi comune a tutte le grandi Chiese d'Oriente e d'Occidente.

CCC 193-195
Ce sont le Symbole des Apôtres, qui est l’antique Symbole baptismal de l’Église de Rome, et le Symbole de Nicée-Constantinople, fruit des deux premiers Conciles œcuméniques, Nicée (325) et Constantinople (381). Ils demeurent communs, aujourd’hui encore, à toutes les grandes Églises d’Orient et d’Occident.

They are the Apostles' Creed which is the ancient baptismal symbol of the Church of Rome and the Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed which stems from the first two ecumenical Councils, that of Nicea (325 A.D.) and that of Constantinople (381 A.D.) and which even to this day are common to all the great Churches of the East and the West.
