CCCC 12. Che cos'è la Tradizione Apostolica?

La Tradizione Apostolica è la trasmissione del messaggio di Cristo, compiuta, sin dalle origini del cristianesimo, mediante la predicazione, la testimonianza, le istituzioni, il culto, gli scritti ispirati. Gli Apostoli hanno trasmesso ai loro successori, i Vescovi, e, attraverso questi, a tutte le generazioni fino alla fine dei tempi, quanto hanno ricevuto da Cristo e appreso dallo Spirito Santo.

La Tradition apostolique est la transmission du message du Christ, qui s’accomplit, depuis les origines du christianisme, par la prédication, le témoignage, les institutions, le culte, les écrits inspirés. Les Apôtres ont transmis à leurs successeurs, les Évêques, et, à travers eux, à toutes les générations, jusqu’à la fin des temps, ce qu’ils ont reçu du Christ et ce qu’ils ont appris de l’Esprit Saint.

Apostolic Tradition is the transmission of the message of Christ, brought about from the very beginnings of Christianity by means of preaching, bearing witness, institutions, worship, and inspired writings. The apostles transmitted all they received from Christ and learned from the Holy Spirit to their successors, the bishops, and through them to all generations until the end of the world.
